The Centec 50679 is a genuine replacement wiring harness designed specifically for use with Cen-Tec low voltage central vacuum hoses, featuring a two-wire two-position switch configuration. This harness operates at 24 volts and enables you to turn your central vacuum system on and off directly from the hose handle.

The harness creates a circuit through the two low voltage electrical contacts in your inlet valve, with the switch in the hose handle controlling your central vacuum operation. The wall end design features split contacts that provide a simple circuit connection to the handle switch for on/off control of your central vacuum power unit.

This wiring harness is compatible with industry standard central vacuum inlets including NuTone branded valves equipped with low voltage contacts in the opening of the inlet valve.
