How to choose the correct electric central vacuum hose

Direct Connect or Pigtail?

Electric hoses commonly use either a direct-connect inlet or a separate electrical pigtail. Matching the hose connection to your existing wall inlet is important when replacing a hose.

Hose Length

Common electric hose lengths include 30 and 35 feet. A longer hose can improve coverage, but the right choice depends on inlet placement and the layout of your home.
