The Chameleon Switch & Ramp Upgrade Kit part number 80529 contains all the components to switch out the bottom of an existing Chameleon valve to the new switch. This retrofit kit converts older Chameleon valve assemblies to the current switch actuator design, improving hose deployment reliability and extending system service life.

Kit 80529 includes the complete switch actuator assembly, mounting hardware, sealing components, and installation instructions. The upgraded switch mechanism provides smoother hose operation, reduces wear on internal components, and maintains consistent suction during hose extension and retraction cycles.

Compatible valve models include Chameleon 80315-30 (30-foot capacity) and 80315-50 (50-foot capacity) retractable hose systems. Chameleon Retractable Hose System hides the hose inside the vacuum tubing and covers up to 2,200 sq.ft. of living space with just one valve. This upgrade maintains the 2,200 sq.ft. coverage while modernizing the switching mechanism.
