The Hide-A-Hose HS5000W is the new generation 5000 series inlet valve with 5th generation SmartSoc technology. This white inlet valve measures just 4.4" x 6.3" and is 38% smaller than previous Hide-A-Hose HS4000 and HS3000 series valves. Features include an improved EPDM rubber door seal, low-voltage on/off switch with LED indicator, and adjusts to wall thicknesses from 3.5" to 6" (standard 2x4 to 2x6 construction).

The improved dual-lip EPDM rubber seal maintains consistent 120+ CFM airflow throughout the system, while the patented Rapid Flex hose locking mechanism provides 15% faster hose retraction with reduced jamming compared to HS4000 series. The complete valve trim kit includes inlet valve assembly, white finish door, 24V low-voltage switch with wire leads, stainless steel mounting screws (4), and wire nuts (2).

Compatible exclusively with HS5000R rough-in kits and HS500 series Rapid Flex hoses in 25', 35', and 50' lengths, this valve requires 24V low-voltage wiring and works with Beam, Electrolux, Nutone, VacuMaid, and other central vacuum systems rated 1200W or higher. The compact design fits standard 2x4 wall cavities with 14.5" stud spacing and requires minimum 4" wall depth.
