The Kirby D50/CL Safety Switch is a black 2 front button speed selector switch designed to fit Kirby D50 and 1CR models. This was the first Kirby to have a 2 speed motor with low for regular use, and high for hose suction. The switch controls motor speed selection for optimal performance across different cleaning tasks.

Constructed with durable black plastic housing and engineered to original Kirby specifications. The speed selector switch is located underneath the air intake with two little push down type switches – one for low speed, the other for high speed, with regular floor attachments depressing the low speed switch and the hose depressing the high speed switch when attached.

Compatible with Kirby D50, D80, 1CR Classic models. The Dual Sanitronic 50 was manufactured from 1965-67, while the Dual Sanitronic 80 was made from 1967-70. This genuine replacement ensures proper electrical functionality and maintains original vacuum performance specifications.
