The Riccar R20D.2 & Simplicity S20D.2 Brushroll w/ Clutch for Flat Belt (part number D012-2700) is a genuine replacement agitator designed for single motor upright vacuums that have a flat belt and a carpet/floor selector switch. This metal brush roll is armed with a clutch mechanism, making it extremely durable. The brush roller has a place for the belt to freely ride on and not turn the whole brush, which is called a clutch system.
Built with metal construction and red plastic brush strips featuring 10.3mm gold bristles that reach carpet fibers better for superior cleaning performance. This roller brush is metal with replaceable brush strips. If your current roller has black strips, this is the roller you need, as they do not make the black strip version anymore.
