The BEAM 30003 Central Vacuum Inlet Valve Cover Plate features round door construction with sturdy ABS plastic material and 1.5" inlet opening diameter. The inlet tapers from 1.5" inside diameter down to approximately 1.4" in the back to keep hoses firmly in place during cleaning. Each plate includes 2 electrical contacts inside for low voltage applications.

Spring-mounted connector pins inside the inlet opening connect to low voltage signal wires via small screws on the back of the inlet. When the hose is inserted, connector pins touch metal plates on the hose end to signal the central vacuum motor to start. The valve opening mechanism allows easy wall installation for central vacuum systems.

These cover plates are fully compatible with BEAM central vacuum systems including Classic, Alliance, Serenity, and Platinum models. Central vacuum inlets are designed to suit different home decor requirements with various sizes, colors, and dimensions available. Compatible with BEAM model numbers SC375, SC160, SC7000, and 2700B systems.
